For me the past two weeks have been a time of great sorrow, and when confronted with sorrow I usually turn to music. Listening to Jessye Norman is a treat on any day, but listening to her sing Amazing Grace when you're ailing is hard to beat.

aw i can never open these videos - poor IT connections - but i am sad for your sorrow and am sure this music will be healing and uplifting. amazing grace is a haunting piece of music for sure. Allow yourself the time to grieve, then go outside and let the march wind play with your hair xx
Hey A, sorry you've had so many losses lately. For a different take on this song, go to youtube and search: Dropkick Murphys Amazing Grace. I know it's not your style, but you might get a kick out of it.
Val -- I'm sorry you couldn't listen to this recording. She has my favorite female voice of all time.
Owen -- Thanks, bro. I checked out the Dropkick Murphys live version and indeed got a kick out of it. They also do a pretty good Fields of Athenry. Gotta love a rock band that has a bagpipe player. (: )
Jessye Norman is a powerhouse unto herself. Magnificent.
Music is incredibly healing. Keep listening, my Adrianne! Keep listening.
My best, my friend. The song is very powerful.
