New Look

(Sunrise over the Atlantic -- Duck, NC -- August 2008)

I couldn't figure out what to write about today -- I have too many thoughts rattling around in my mind right now to focus on and write about only one. So, instead of regaling you with my philosophical prowess, I instead am changing the look of my blog for the first time since I started blogging last fall. Comments of course are welcome, as always.

i love it - it feels more open and spacious; and the colours are fabulous

I like it because it doesn't look like anyone else's. How did you choose the colors?

Thanks, ladies! I'm glad that you all approve.

Barbara -- these were all colors that I used initially, and I just experimented with using them in different ways until I came up with something that I liked.

I approve with anything you do. And just wait till your thoughts are making sense to yourself again. Sometimes that takes a while.

So peaceful.

And hopeful.

You changed the look? What did it look like before? Nice photo, is it new? :)

Merle, I changed the colors around and posted a summery photo in an attempt to distract myself from the winter weather.

I like this color combination and especially the way the sunset looks with the orange letters!

I was going to say I love the colour, but just about everybody has already said that.

So you must have picked a winner!

by the way did you try that falling asleep trick with the blue velvet wall ? this could be the very blue!

I love that sunrise photo...it's so beautiful, and tones in so beautifully with the rest of the colours. (not sure what the old one looked like, but this one is lovely!)
